Terms of service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms explain how we work with you. We've kept them short and in plain English. By agreeing to work with us, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Vonta Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16014640, registered office 42 Rose Lane, Romford RM6 5JU. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the Vonta team" mean that company, and "you" means the business we're working with.

Contact: [email protected]

2. What we provide

We provide a monthly service to help you turn more enquiries into customers. Depending on what we agree with you in writing, this can include:

  • a website for your business, built and hosted by us
  • a customer list (CRM) to keep track of enquiries and jobs
  • lead capture, so enquiries from your website, calls and messages end up in one place
  • online booking for calls, visits or appointments
  • automatic follow-ups to people who have enquired
  • requests for customer reviews after a job
  • a plain monthly report on what's happening with your enquiries

What's included for you, and the price, will be set out in the proposal or order we agree with you. If these terms and that proposal differ, the proposal comes first.

3. Fees and billing

  • The website may have a low set-up fee or none at all. We'll tell you before you start.
  • The service has a monthly fee, which includes hosting and the tools listed in your proposal.
  • We bill monthly in advance. Payment is due when you receive the invoice, or on the same day each month if you pay by card or direct debit.
  • Our prices don't include VAT. We add VAT where it applies.
  • If a payment is late, we'll let you know and give you 14 days to put it right before we pause the service.
  • Any guarantee or pilot offer is set out in your proposal and agreed in writing before you start.

4. Length of the agreement and cancelling

There's no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' notice by email to [email protected]. You pay for the service until the end of that notice period. We don't give refunds for part months unless your proposal says so.

We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice too. We can end it sooner if you seriously break these terms, for example by not paying after we've reminded you, or by using the service unlawfully.

When the agreement ends, we'll take the website offline unless we agree otherwise, and we'll switch off the tools we ran for you. Section 7 explains what you can take with you.

5. What we need from you

  • Give us accurate information, and the text, photos and logos we ask for, in good time.
  • Make sure you have the right to use everything you give us, including images, reviews and customer details.
  • Follow the law when you use the service, including the rules on contacting people by email, text and phone (UK GDPR and PECR). Only add people to follow-ups if you're allowed to contact them.
  • Reply to us promptly. Delays on your side can delay results.
  • Keep your login details safe and tell us if you think someone else has them.

6. Results

We work hard to help you get more enquiries and bookings, but we can't promise a particular number of customers or amount of sales. Results depend on many things, including your prices, your reputation and how quickly you reply.

7. Your website, content and ownership

  • Your content is yours. That includes your text, photos, logo, customer lists and reviews. You give us permission to use it to provide the service.
  • Our work stays ours. We keep the rights in the website design, our templates, software and tools. While you're a client, you can use them as part of the service.
  • If you leave, you can ask us for a copy of your content and your customer list, and we'll send it within 30 days. If you own your domain name, we'll help you point it elsewhere.
  • With your permission, we may mention that you're a client or share results as a case study. You choose what we publish, and you approve it first.

8. Availability

We aim to keep your website and tools running all the time, but we can't promise there will never be a break. Sometimes we need to carry out maintenance, and some parts of the service rely on other companies, such as hosting, phone and email providers. We aren't responsible for problems caused by them or by events outside our control, but we'll work to fix things as quickly as we can.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Apart from that:

  • we aren't responsible for lost profits, lost sales or other indirect losses
  • our total responsibility to you for anything that goes wrong is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the problem happened

10. Your data and ours

We handle personal information as described in our privacy policy. Where we handle your customers' details for you, we do so only on your instructions and in line with UK data protection law. We'll sign a data processing agreement with you if you ask.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a change that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before it starts. If you don't agree, you can cancel under section 4 before it takes effect. We'll show the date at the top of this page.

Any change to your service or price needs to be agreed in writing, and an email is fine.

12. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we can't settle a disagreement between us, the courts of England and Wales will deal with it. We'd always rather talk first, so please email us at [email protected].
